		<abstract>This study aims to present the methodology developed for the maintenance of the delimitation of Ecological Tension Zones between pasture, agriculture and natural vegetation in the North of Minas Gerais, that due to the constant changes in the natural landscape of the middle region that occurs in function to the social and commercial demands imposed , it became necessary to carry out the pequizeiro (caryocarbrasiliense) massive mapping project, conducted by the Geoprossesing Laboratory of the State University of Montes Claros together  with the Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de Minas Gerais  FAPEMIG. This methodology had as goal the creation of an initial mask, which would raise the main areas inserted in this concept of tension. Through the Remote Sensing aid by ENVI 5.3, using the tool Vegetation Delineation and Stress Detection for analysis of vegetation through NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index), of the photointerpretation and the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) of ArcMap 10.2.1 applied to the processed images of the satellite Landsat 8,the vegetation classes were selected and separated translated through graphics, images and tables that best describe them, and aid in the analysis of the vegetation contained in the mask previously generated and the composition of each of the classes in an individual way. The initial results generated in the research were extensively discussed in this article.</abstract>
